If you're not growing...

As most of you know, I have been working on my goals related to my business. It's been a whole lot of fun. I recently listened to a book on CD called Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker. Holy moly, do I recommend this book! So many great ideas. One of the things he wrote that struck a chord went a little something like this:

If you're not growing, you're dying. Look at plants. If they aren't growing, then they are dying. The same is true of us. If we aren't learning, growing, bettering ourselves, we are moving toward death. It is critical that we never say the dreaded words: "I know". There is always more to learn, more to understand. The thoughts and ideas we have now have gotten us to where we are now. If we desire a better situation tomorrow, we must change something. Our thoughts are the perfect place to start.

I thought these were some profound thoughts and wanted to share them with you.
Love you all,
Genevieve

Thank you for sharing Gen, I am one of those people that has to always be reading more business books, Gardening books, Accounting books, Self-help, but at times it seems like so much info is coming in.......that it is hard to absorb it. My goals have always been to write down and keep what I like, (aka Rapport), but now I think I will just start ripping pages out and filing it away, grabbing a thought or page a day out of my own little grab bag. I am going to add this one that you posted to it. Of course I also love the reference to plants :}, luvyasu.

ps, let me know if you can handle some other reading material, I have some great stuff of business building......there just might be some pages missing though : }}}

What struck me was to never say the words: I know. The older I get the more I realize I don't know. There is always something happening every day that STUNS me. In good and bad ways. But it makes me understand the world in ways I never thought possible. Our thoughts are the perfect place to begin anew.
